    Printing & Finishing Methods

Printing and finishing processes are the vital parts of creating your unique wedding invitations. Depending on the types of printing and finishing techniques, your invitation can carry elegance and sophistication, change its look from casual to formal, and stand out among all the usual wedding stationaries. These are some of the methods used for our products:

Offset/Flat Printing: One of the most commonly used printing processes in the industry. It offsets ink from a metal plate to a rubber blanket, then to the smooth surface.

Raised Printing/Thermography: This technique involves adding special powder to the ink printed on the paper. The piece goes through drying process and then heated until the powder and ink form a raised effect on the paper. Letters and images done with this process appear shimmering with texture, similar to engraving.

High Resolution Digital Printing: Modern printing method that uses digital files instead of printing plates. Unlike desktop publishing, our technique delivers vivid, long-lasting colors with many paper options.

Silk-Screening/Screen Printing: Uses a porous mesh as a screen and a stencil to block ink, and then the ink is forced through the screen following the stencil pattern. This method can be used on any size, shape, thickness, or type of paper.

Embossing: Creates three-dimensional images. In regular printing, plates are pressed against the surface to leave an imprint, whereas in embossing, the pressing raises the surfaces adding a new dimension to the object. Usually used on high end products as it adds much class and elegance.

Laser-Cutting: Another high quality finishing method that uses lasers to cut materials to create delicate and intricate patterns, figures, and designs. Our laser-cut products deliver superb quality and style.

Foil Stamping: Utilizes a special film-backed material, or foil to be applied to paper where a heated die is stamped onto the foil and then adhere to the surface, leaving the design of the die on the paper. Sometimes combined with embossing to create more striking 3D images.
